Data Scientist I - Data Science & Machine Learning

Bartech Staffing is proud to partner with a large Agriculture client who is accepting applications for a Power Platform Developer. This is a contractual opportunity, onsite in the Quad Cities Area (Open to various locations).

As a Power Platform Developer, you will focus on designing, building, and deploying automation solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform suite-including Power Automate, Power Apps, and Copilot Studio Agents. The ideal candidate will help accelerate digital transformation across frontline workflows and internal operations.

Location: Quad Cities Area, Des Moines or Waterloo

Hourly Pay Range $55 per hour - $56 per hour (W2)

Responsibilities

• Build automation flows with Power Automate to streamline manual processes
• Create custom applications using Power Apps to support operational efficiency
• Develop intelligent agents using Copilot Studio for targeted business use cases
• Design and implement Generative AI models and systems tailored to business needs.
• Stay current with emerging trends in AI, machine learning, and data science.
• Lead end-to-end development of AI solutions-from data ingestion to model deployment.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable solutions
• Participate in periodic reviews and demos to showcase solution impact
• Document development processes and maintain solution integrity across environments

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform tools
• Familiarity with Copilot Studio and conversational AI agent design
• Proven experience in developing and deploying AI solutions in a business environment.
• Strong proficiency in Python, PyTorch, or similar frameworks.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and MLOps practices.
• Experience with low-code/no-code development environments
• Strong understanding of data flows, API integration, and automation logic
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
