Maintenance Supervisor 4

Bartech Staffing is proud to partner with a global Automotive client who is accepting applications for a Maintenance Supervisor in the Spring Hill, TN area. This role supports 3 production shifts, and candidates must be open to working any shift.

Shift assignments rotate based on team needs and group leader preferences.
1st Shift: 5:30 AM - 3:00 PM
2nd Shift: 3:30 PM - 1:00 AM
3rd Shift: 9:30 PM - 7:00 AM

This is a Contractual opportunity offering the strong protentional for extension or conversion.

Hourly Pay Range: $43 - $45 per hour (W2)

Note: Initial training will take place on 1st shift for approximately 2-3 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise up to 15 hourly maintenance employees (mechanics and electricians)
• Lead daily startup meetings (30 minutes prior to shift start)
• Spend the majority of the shift on the production floor, responding to equipment breakdowns and supporting production uptime
• Manage team administration including:
  • Payroll tracking
  • Safety compliance
  • Quality standards
• Coordinate spare parts acquisition and ordering from the crib
• Collaborate closely with:
  • Production teams
  • Engineering teams
  • Other Group Leaders (3 per shift)
• Provide weekly throughput and process improvement updates, including:
  • Operational improvements
  • Business plan deployment
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and production launches

Qualifications

• Quality and assembly readiness
• Education: Associate's Degree (field not specified)
• Experience: Minimum 8 years of relevant experience
• Maintenance background in a manufacturing environment
• People leadership and team supervision experience
• Automotive welding process knowledge and quality awareness
• Mechanical aptitude (required)
• Familiarity with Fanuc robots (preferred)
• Strong relationship‑building skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt
• Comfort operating in a high‑energy production environment
