Quality Analyst Pilot
Pay: $41.00 - $43.10 per hour
Schedule: 100% onsite | 40 hours/week (limited overtime)
Position Overview
The Body, Chassis, Interior (BCI) Quality Team is seeking a Quality Analyst Pilot to support vehicle program launches and ensure all quality targets are achieved. This role is responsible for managing quality deliverables, supporting launch timelines, and driving the transition to stable, high-quality volume production.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive quality convergence by deploying quality management tools for the qualification of incoming parts and assemblies
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) on quality issues and implement corrective actions
- Maintain and update supplier compliance dashboards; lead quality review meetings
- Prioritize and drive supplier compliance actions aligned with vehicle quality targets
- Develop and propose pilot solutions for issue resolution
- Manage and execute escalation processes based on BCI business criteria
- Coach and support strategic suppliers on complaint handling and issue resolution processes
- Ensure effective root cause identification and manage change requests to achieve quality targets at launch
- Correlate measurement data to KPIs and ensure overall data accuracy and integrity
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Materials, Chemical, Civil, or Aerospace Engineering (ABET-accredited preferred)
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in automotive Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Supplier Quality, or Product Quality
- Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, and Supplier Quality standards
- Experience with statistical data analysis, metrology principles, and process control methods
- Proven ability to conduct root cause analysis and issue resolution
- Understanding of defect tracking, escalation processes, and follow-ups
- Familiarity with vehicle design, assembly processes, and in-plant operations
- Knowledge of tooling and manufacturing processes
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to develop and execute action plans and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Self-motivated with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work 100% onsite at a Stellantis assembly plant
