Role Overview
- Focus: Manager, Connectivity & Infotainment (highest priority)
- Duration: Long-term contract
- Pay Rate: $44-$46/hour
- Location: Windsor, ON
- Hybrid role with flexibility from the hiring manager
- Option to work from ARDC or a local dealership
The EE Quality Management Engineer is responsible for the resolution and prevention of electrical quality issues, including warranty concerns and investigations (JD Power, Consumer Reports). This role sits within the Engineering organization and focuses on electrical systems and components related to Connectivity and Infotainment.
This individual will collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and leadership teams to drive quality improvements across vehicle programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams to drive:
- Root cause analysis
- Containment actions
- Corrective actions
- Service actions for quality and warranty issues
- Analyze and prioritize warranty data to ensure focus on high-impact issues
- Act as a liaison across engineering, manufacturing, supplier quality, and purchasing teams to ensure proper alignment and resolution
- Ensure lessons learned are documented and applied ("read-across") across all vehicle lines
Key Requirements
- Education: Preferred background in Electrical Engineering
- Experience: Minimum of 2+ years in one or more of the following:
- Electrical Engineering
- Quality Engineering
- Validation Engineering
- Product Engineering
Work Environment & Travel
- Hybrid work model with manager flexibility
- Travel requirements include:
- Local travel to dealerships as needed
- Occasional travel to the U.S. for meetings
- Potential extended travel (up to 1 month) in the U.S.
