Customer Logistics Consultant

Our client has engaged us to assist them in hiring a contract Customer Logistics Consultant (Mississauga, Ontario). Hourly Pay range $35 -38/hr
Hybrid - in office Tuesday & Wednesday

RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Supply Chain Ownership & Execution

• Owns day-to-day customer logistics performance and execution, particularly for key Canada customers.
• Proactively manages customer requests, constraints, and service recovery actions (e.g., coordinating capacity for live loads, managing and optimizing fill rate).

Performance Management & Analytics Leadership

• Serves as the team's "customer cube key thinker", owning weekly reporting of cube, fill rate, and shipment performance Identification of drivers behind performance gaps and escalation of risks.
• Produces and communicates KPI reporting to leadership, enabling visibility and decision-making.

Cost Optimization & CPU Strategy

• Leads efforts to optimize CPU (Customer Pick-Up) economics and logistics costs, including developing and proposing CPU allowance structures, driving measurable cost savings and efficiency improvements.

Customer Relationship Management & External Collaboration

• Acts as a primary supply chain interface with customers and partners: Communicates operational constraints and sets expectations with external stakeholders to solve logistics issues and improve compliance.

Continuous Improvement & Change Leadership

• Drives process improvements and operational efficiencies, including standardizing execution processes (e.g., rollovers, order management transitions), identifying trends early and mitigating customer-facing risks.
• Acts as a liaison across functions (HQ, GBS, operations) to enable transformation initiatives.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree required
• 7-10 Years of Relevant Experience with at least four years of cross-functional Supply Chain experience; inclusive of customer service, planning, and distribution.
• Demonstrated LEAN thinking & capability.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint skills
