About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Integration Engineer to support the development and launch of vehicle electrical systems for a major automotive OEM. This hands-on role involves electrical integration, vehicle testing, troubleshooting, validation, and launch support for performance vehicle programs.
What You'll Do

  • Support the design, integration, and launch of vehicle electrical systems.
  • Develop and execute validation testing for electrical functions.
  • Troubleshoot electrical and network issues on development vehicles.
  • Support vehicle builds, testing events, and assembly plant launches.
  • Flash, configure, and diagnose vehicle modules and control systems.
  • Analyze CAN networks and collect vehicle data for issue resolution.
  • Work closely with engineering, purchasing, program management, and supplier teams.
  • Support engineering deliverables and GPDS milestones.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of automotive electrical systems experience.
  • Previous vehicle launch experience.
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Vehicle electrical architecture
    • Wiring integration and power distribution
    • Electronic control modules (hardware/software)
    • CAN networks and diagnostics
  • Experience with tools such as:
    • Vector CANalyzer
    • Module flashing tools
    • CAN troubleshooting and data logging
    • Ford DET or similar diagnostic software
  • Familiarity with Ford GPDS processes is highly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting assembly plant launches.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot circuits.
  • Passion for vehicle performance and automotive technology.
