HR Operations & Immigration Coordinator (Contract)
Position Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented HR Operations & Immigration Coordinator to support our U.S. HR team. This role combines HR administration, immigration case coordination, employee relations support, onboarding, I-9/E-Verify processing, and Workday data management.
The ideal candidate has experience in U.S. HR operations and employment-based immigration and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment while providing excellent employee support.
Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the main contact between employees and immigration attorneys.
  • Coordinate and track employment-based immigration cases, including H-1B, L-1, PERM, and Green Card processes.
  • Maintain accurate immigration records and ensure compliance with U.S. immigration requirements.
  • Monitor case timelines and follow up on required documentation.
  • Provide employees with status updates and guidance throughout the process.
  • Provide administrative support to the U.S. HR team.
  • Complete and maintain I-9 and E-Verify processes.
  • Support employee relations activities and respond to employee inquiries.
  • Assist with onboarding new hires and support the U.S. intern program.
  • Process employee data updates in Workday, including hires, transfers, and terminations.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and conduct routine audits for data accuracy.
  • Partner with Payroll, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Legal, and HR teams to ensure smooth HR operations.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of HR Operations, HR Shared Services, or HR Administration experience.
  • Experience supporting U.S. employment-based immigration cases.
  • Knowledge of I-9 and E-Verify requirements.
  • Experience with Workday.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of HR compliance and employee relations practices.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working directly with immigration counsel.
  • Experience supporting intern programs and onboarding activities.
  • Experience in a fast-paced corporate environment.
