Integrated Vehicle Systems Analyst
Location: Saline, MI
Schedule: Onsite, 5 Days per Week
We are seeking an Integrated Vehicle Systems Analyst to support the development, integration, and validation of vehicle electronic systems and components. In this role, you will work closely with engineers and technicians to support vehicle development activities, maintain engineering documentation, and assist with electronic component integration using CATIA V5.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in vehicle electronics, wiring systems, ECU functionality, and automotive product development in a collaborative engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support engineers in the development and application of vehicle electronic components and systems.
- Create, update, and maintain technical documentation in accordance with engineering requirements.
- Assist with electronic component packaging and integration using CATIA V5 in both 2D and 3D environments.
- Update wiring specifications, bills of material, and parts lists based on engineering change requests.
- Prepare and coordinate part orders for vehicle builds, testing activities, and evaluations.
- Support ECU re-flashing and vehicle software update activities.
- Generate drawing comparison reports and engineering documentation for review and approval.
- Track, maintain, and audit open engineering issues and action item lists.
- Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and cross-functional teams to support vehicle development programs.
Required Qualifications
- Experience using CATIA V5 in both 2D and 3D environments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including:
- Excel
- Word
- PowerPoint
- Outlook
- Teams
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced engineering environment.
- Willingness to learn new technologies, processes, and tools.
- Ability to work onsite in Saline, Michigan five days per week.
- Ability to work up to 30% overtime when required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in automotive or vehicle systems development.
- Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems, wiring, harnesses, or ECUs.
- Experience supporting mechanical design or product development activities.
- Familiarity with engineering documentation, change management, or vehicle build processes.
- Exposure to vehicle validation, testing, or integration activities.
