RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide strategic and technical leadership in the development of propulsion control strategies.
• Develop and support control systems and calibration activities for propulsion systems.
• Utilize expertise in electrified powertrains, conventional engines, and transmission control technologies.
• Lead and support system design, control development, testing, validation, and calibration activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, applying a systems-focused and interdisciplinary approach to problem solving.
• Manage and deliver individual technical projects while coordinating activities across multiple stakeholders.
• Drive projects from concept through implementation, ensuring successful execution and completion.
• Thrive in a fast-paced engineering environment, balancing technical requirements, timing, and project objectives.
• Effectively communicate technical solutions and provide support for overall propulsion systems development.
• Contribute as a strong team player while providing technical guidance and leadership on controls-related initiatives..

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, Systems Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering, Applied Physics, or any other relevant STEM oriented degree from an ABET accredited university
• 5 years of total experience in conventional and electrified propulsion system controls/calibration development
• Demonstrated ability in control algorithm development methods
• Demonstrated potential to teach, lead and inspire
• Effective experienced based or analytical problem solving ability
• Demonstrated technical leadership on propulsion system control strategy development projects
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and teamwork
