Work Arrangement: Fully Onsite
Shift: Must be available to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Production Supervisor to lead hourly manufacturing employees in a fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and employee engagement goals are consistently achieved while fostering a positive team culture. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, demonstrates high integrity, and thrives in a manufacturing setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, coach, and develop hourly production team members.
- Organize workflow and manpower to meet daily production and quality targets.
- Monitor production operations to ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards are achieved.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and problem-solving activities.
- Verify production lines are operating safely, efficiently, and producing quality products.
- Build strong working relationships with hourly employees, union representatives, and management.
- Promote accountability and high-performance standards through servant leadership.
- Support and administer plant policies and Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) requirements consistently and fairly.
- Maintain a strong culture of workplace safety and employee engagement.
- Communicate effectively with team members, leaders, and business partners to address production concerns and opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience and/or manufacturing experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including:
- Excel
- Word
- PowerPoint
- Outlook
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
Preferred Background
- Manufacturing leadership or team lead experience.
- Experience working in a unionized environment.
- Knowledge of production, quality, safety, and continuous improvement processes.
