Operations Support Specialist

Job Responsibilities
Your specific duties as a Operations Support Specialist will include:

• Compensation (Range): $26-$29 / hour
• Process work orders and prepare work packages to support operational needs
• Verify customer accounts and respond promptly to verbal and written inquiries from customers
• Record and document details of customer interactions using SharePoint
• Escalate customer issues to appropriate team members as necessary
• Manage team email boxes and maintain accurate electronic records
• Use Excel to organize and track data as part of daily activities
• Collaborate effectively with team members and leadership, following direction as needed
• Adapt quickly to changes and contribute in a fast-moving work environment
• Incorporate feedback to improve service and processes
• Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience working with Gas Operations systems or similar utilities/customer service platforms
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with SharePoint, or willingness to learn
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Moderate analytical skills and ability to multi-task
• Experience working in customer service and performing data entry (minimum 2 years required)
• Ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively
