This is a contract position; however, it is not uncommon for assignments to transition into permanent positions with our client companies. Supplier Technical Assistance Engineer
Job Responsibilities
Your specific duties as a Supplier Technical Assistance Engineer will include:

• Compensation (Range): 45-48 / hour
• As a Supplier Technical Assistance Engineer, you will represent the company at supplier manufacturing facilities, travelling up to 80% of the time.
• You will take a leadership role inside Ford and with our suppliers regarding product launch and current model quality.
• You will be empowered to make quality decisions on behalf of the company and authorize legal documents such as the Part Submission Warrant.

Job Requirements
As a Supplier Technical Assistance Engineer, you must represent our company well by being responsible, punctual, and motivated to go above and beyond the call of duty. You must also be highly detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

• Technical degree in an engineering discipline.
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering (ME, EE, ChE, IE).
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of AIAG APQP and PPAP processes.
• Strong Program management and computer skills.
• ISO9001:2000 and/or ISO/TS16949:2002 knowledge/experience.
• High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse people and cross-functional teams.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• 3 years' experience with program management, quality improvement, quality processes, or lean in a manufacturing environment.
